To store it, if you are gonna ride on the weekends not much is needed, just make sure you take it on long rides to get everything nice and warm. And I would probably lube the chain after every other ride or so, keep an eye on it you know. Maintain tire pressure also, try to keep them of of the ground if at all possible. If you are going to do extended storage, it would be quite a bit different, a battery tender would be a must and I would remove the battery from the bike all together. +1 on Flying's suggestions, 'cause if I remember correctly the manual mentions keepin' the plugs from getting rusty, etc. I don't remember the details, my manual is in the garage.
