Hi everyone, just stopping in to say hello. I am a new member to these forums (well sorta...I already posted once but didnt want to introduce myself until I took some pics of my bike). Anyways, heres a pic of my bike, if anyone can tell me how to win the bike of the month from where I sit now I would appreciate it!

Looks like the last time to get to Elkhart Lake is Aug 13+14 (which is a sunday and a monday).

anyone going? any other tracks i shoud know about? I like speed, but i don't like the tickets associated with it.

It's just a track day through Sportbike Track Time. the other one i've heard of is Blackhawk Farms raceway.

This is their Schedule:

I'd like to go to a track. Do you need special stuff to get on the track? Racing tires or anything done to your bike? Mine is stock with the exception of the windscreen, I put a sportech chrome one on.

Every track / track day organizer is different, but most of them require:

Full 1 or 2 piece leathers (no exceptions, leather ONLY, jacket and pants)
Taped up lights (head lights, signals, tail light)
Taped up wheel weights
Mirrors removed
Satisfactory tires. (Race breed not required, but highly recommended. Your stock Dunlops will do. If you get different track specific rubber, you'll be glad you did. Powers / Qualifiers are the tires to have.)
A willingness to learn

that's about it.
