Hey fellas, i was feelin a rough ride lately so i had a tech check it out, he told me i needed new front fork seals. I just want to get an idea about how much it should cost. His estimate sounded a little high, also, will it huer the bike if i ride it between now and when i get the seals fixed. thanks.

Depends how bad the seals are leaking? if they have just started you should be ok for a week or so, but if you are riding hard and fast the front end dives more under braking making the oil spurt out faster, just be careful it dosen't get on the front brake disc.
As for changing the seals if you are a mechanically minded, the seals aren't that hard to replace.
genuine Honda seals are about £3.95 each here in the the UK, then you have the price of the fork oil.

I had my front fork seals done and the fork oil changed...and it was not cheap.

About $250 US dollars.

People say it's easy to do yourself but I think there's a lot of labor involved.
