I want to get a new system for my blade - problem is I dont like the ones available, i want something that is a bit more designed on the bike. Dont like the oval arrows etc as they look odd to me and not suited to the bike. I want something like the exhausts of a petronas fp1 made by micron (see attached), like the way they are shaped to the seat and the pipe funnels are tapered - problem is they dont do one.

Has anyone come across anything like this or anything that is a bit different from the norm - any links and suggestions would be cool

Two Brothers:

Gained 4 ponies. Gains everywhere.

They also have some sort of diverter that makes it quieter without losing any HP. But who the hell wants that? I've had TwoBros on a Katana and on a Busa and been happy with sound and look. Whatever float yo boat I spose.

Hey Limpy, how much is the Micron? The TwoBros runs $450 for the aluminum and more for the Ti or CF. The Akropovic (sp?) was like $700 and change and didn't even look good. That Micron does look kinda sweet.

Thanks for the pics guys - quite like the micron one, but still lookin for somin a bit more exciting, maybe im bein too fussy. I love the new blade, its the best lookin bike ive ever seen/had, just the exhaust annoys me a bit - not sharp enough!

But - i did find 2 others, 1 similar to the micron but the other is 'gp style' - i think it looks awesome even though it does mean that if i drop it, it aint protected.

What do you all reckon?

IMO, the Morwaki looks alright, it has the old Honda Repsol look. If you want an updated version of the MotoGP look, checkout Arrow Exhaust.

http://www.arrow.it/eng/ricercaprodotti/details_foto.asp?id=637

The entire setup is a little on the expensive side but damn it looks good. The Arrow should give you gains all over the board.

I just got off the phone with Micron..the pipe is a slip on, it is available and it only comes in Stainless steel. Retail price is $499.99 but I can sell it for $450 if anyone is interested

QS -- sorry, don't really care for the arrow.

Limpy - $450 you say. Not bad. You got any links to how it sounds or HP gains?

I ordered a 2Bros CF. They sound sweet as well and I've had excellent results from them (this makes 4th bike). I'm still considering the 1kRR stock though.
