I hope the guy who started this thread got the advice he was looking for, I am deleting my account. I really hate to respond, but I have to note the observation I just made. Amaese was logged in and viewing this thread when I posted a few minutes ago, then he logged out and CBRer logged in seconds later and posted this, then CBRer logged out and Amaese was back. I am simply noting what I just observed. Not to continue or start any new arguments, but if we have trolls in here its best to know who they are. People having multiple screen names is a seperate and unrelated issue, independant of this thread.

Back to the topic.... I have a 03-954 and my buddy has a 04-R1. He cant even come close to keeping up to me, until a long straight highway comes along. It all comes down to two things. 1. How good each rider actually is. 2. How much road are you using to race. I have 17 years of riding under my belt and my buddy has 2 years and he still can figure why he cant keep up. When we are on the highway or a really long straight he gradually catches up but it takes him a while, he never blows by me but does slowly creep up. So riding experience is where its at. If you have the skillz you and your bike can do amazing things. I am not saying I am a the best rider known to man but I am saying I can out ride my friend and his 04-R1.

I already made a peace offering, but apparently YOU wish to continue this. Can I ask why? I already said lets drop this and move on before it gets out of hand, so for what reason do you insist on making it worse? One more time I will remind you that there was no argument until you decided to start shit with me because my opinion wasn't what you wanted to hear. Now in the interest of keeping peace, lets just drop this stupidity now and move on.

If you have the skillz you and your bike can do amazing things. I am not saying I am a the best rider known to man but I am saying I can out ride my friend and his 04-R1. Very good points made. Keep in mind that your 954 has a bit more HP stock (5 to 10 more depending on the bikes/dyno), and a little less weight (about 10 lbs less) giving you a slightly better HP/weight ratio than the 929. And as you said, your experience is superior. If he can't keep up until a straight road, then he isn't nearly as skilled as you in the turns. A straight line only race could be a different story, but that removes alot of the skill factor. I would be interested to see the results if you and your buddy swapped bikes for a race, you would probably win on either bike. Given riders of equal skill and experience do you think a 929 can beat an R-1 without power adders or mods?

I HAVE 11 YEARS OF RIDING UNDER MY BELT AND IF ANYONE OF YOU GUYS REALLY RIDE YOUR 929 LIKE THAT YOU WOULDNT BE SAYING ITS IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE I KNOW IT ISNT.

So now your going to talk shit to everyone? If you are so skilled and know so much then why are you here asking how to beat an R-1? If you know it isnt impossible then why ask? Its not impossible with some decent mods or power adders, thats all everyone has said. You asked a question, and almost everyone told you the same thing, but you dont want to hear that. So you talk shit to me, and Weeble1 (who hasn't done anything to deserve your bullshit), and everyone else here doesnt know how to ride like you. Maybe everyone should just stop replying to this asshole and ignore him. Then maybe he will just get the hell out of here and not come back. Its very obvious he has no intention of treating anyone here with respect if they dare to tell him something he doesnt like.

Y2K929RR you ar such a sensative person, I guess that comes from being lonely and being onlin all the time. I just mearly wanted feeback and maybe even a reply from someone who has actually done something to there bike to get some type of insight on my project. But I see this isnt the place for it with all the sensative women in the forum. But thanks for the advise from the real riders.....

I know how to ride and would love to line up next to you. Like it was said before, it is simple math. Riders with equal skill and stock bikes= R1 winning. Plain and simple. No hard feelings on my end, just "sticking to the topic" lol.

I just looked at the start of this thread and birdman you said he catches you and walks away. Now you are on his ass above 150? Sounds to me like you may think a little too much of either yourslef or your bike. I just don't understand how you have 2 different stories..... please explain. Again, not to be a smart ass, I'm just lost.
