Hey guys, I remember a post where someone took the plastic off their mirror arms and painted them black. I tried to find the thread again but couldn't. Anyone remember that? If it was you could you give me a little info on how you did it?

Thanks!

take some steel wool or fine sand paper and scuff them then prime and spray.

i personally didnt like the look so i bought carbon fiber mirrors. they were only 24.00...

It was me who made that post im pretty sure, coz I did it. Cut the rubbers off coz they had dried out and were not quite reaching the mirror and the plates. Sanded down all of the parts and painted with a can of gloss black. Looks awesome, my only complaint, stone chips. I will probably have to repaint them soon and try to find a better stone chip resistant paint.
