Im not sure if this thread has been posted up already, but i have looked extensively to not find it. So anyways, what did all of you fine people pay for your machine?

Ill start it off, if you can list the year, milage, condition, and price.
I think this would be a good reference for people who are thinking about buying one. Thanks!

I've got the 94 CBR1000F-R model. I bought it from the original owner with 6,800 miles back on 3/17/06. I paid $4,000.00 US Dollars. I have had it appraised to be a 9.0 out of 10. The only reason it scored a -1 from 10 is because the brake line fittings have slight oxidation on them. I put the following mods on it;

Stage 1.7 race jet kit
K&N air filter
Black Widow full exhaust with titanium header, stainless midpipe, and carbon fiber dual outlet can
Eliminated the rear fender and integrated the turnsignals with a DIY 3:2 trailer light converter with 8ohm 20watt resistors
Tsubaki o-ring chain with -1 in front and +3 in rear
Bridgestone BT014 Ultra HP radial tires (120 front, 180 rear)
MP3 player and Cobra Radar detector

It now has 11,200 miles on it.

Here's a couple of pics

I just bought mine this week.

1994 with 10,015 miles on it. I paid $1,600 and have about $200 in a new battery, oil and filter, anitfreeze, spark plugs and a couple of items that needed replacement.

What I do still need to find for the bike is a couple of clean mufflers and the shields that go in front of them. I know there is someone out there that has repalced their stock system with an aftermarket system and have the old peices just laying around.........

100 000 km
Chain, sprockets, brake pads and fork seals where new.
Broken top fairing
Some scratches but nothing broken or cracked.
Runned real bad when bought, but just needed carb maintenance to run like hell (255 km/h GPS).

$ 3000 plus a $ 200 for used top fairing in mint condition and another $ 100 for a top notch paint of the top fairing. About $ 100 was also spent on the clutch which slipped at max torque when the engine was not fully warm.

I paid $1700 for my 91 with 58,000 miles. With another complete motor (runs sitting on the ground), and a second seat (corbin), 2 sets of pregressive springs for the front forks, and a bunch of tools to work on it.

I live in Denmark too, we have a heavy taxation on cars and bikes.
$16000 for a ten year old CBR1000F is normal.

The tax is 180%, so a vehicle that normally costs $5000 will cost you $14000 here.
Lovely is´nt it :-D

And our gasprices are wonderfull to, $1.63 pr liter...

But thats the price for having fun here.
