Bought my 91 cbr1000f in 2000 for $3500 with 21,000 miles on the clock. I ride it daily to work until december or so when it starts to snow. I now have almost 40,000 miles on it now. Replaced the clutch, and water pump. The rest has been oil changes every 2000 miles and tires/sprockets/chains ect.

Got my 94 model 2 yrs ago in NSW, rode back to Victoria (couldnt remove the huge grin off my face all day) ... shes SPOTLESS, has 73,000kms on the clock, the majority of which was done on country roads. I got her for $6,400AUD.

93' CBR1KF with 23k miles on it.

$2.7k

It has some rash from being dropped once or twice. It's like 7/10 on the clean factor.

Bought my 1996 CBR 1000F, 30000 miles for US$ 2500 on ebay about 2 years ago.  Dual yoshimura cans. Probably has some mechanical modifications cos it runs like hell. With wife on the back seat , the front tire begins to get airborne in second gear around 5000 rpm. O, what a blast.

Full of road crap from riding in slippery weather but, bought November 2006. 1990 F-L Model, 33k miles on the clock. Good clean bike. Rear shock knackered tho. Easily rideable at normal speeds, give it some and the rear loses shape. Need a decent aftermarket shocker. £1000

yeh,thought so at the time.
mind you adding the stainless oversize downpipes and new contis',ceramic brakes, headlight coversion, new chain added up a bit.
luckily the seat only cost a tenner,is why i got the hacksaw out and bolted the luggage pack to it where the pillion used to be.
trouble is im getting a taste for power now and just starting new job and looking at a 929,heh.
