i paid £970.00 for my ride. Probably it puts me in the major league muppet stakes, but when something catches my eye I go all stupid. Oh well. There was no fairing, all smashed to pieces by a (previous) previous owner. But the bike looked as mean as hell, sounded really tight, the disks and forks etc. told of not too many miles (i'd heard that it was less than 20k miles but have no proof) and it seemed to go like stink. So there we are. Takes all sorts to make a world. Eh.

1993 CBR 1000F
at time of purchase had 4600 miles on it
paid $4600 USD
Purchased mine in spring of '94 (traded my CBR 600 F2 with full V&H SSR2 exhaust)
1k now has a little over 19000 on the odometer.
bone stock would rate it a 9 out of 10
since I have owned/ carbs have been gone through once and 2 sets of tires
I am a freak about maintenance and up keep.
Selling it to a guy in Florida for around $3000 next month.
not bad $1600 for the last 14yrs plus tires.
Here is a pic of my old ride and my new one. (sorry Honda)

I paid $2400 for my Honda CBR 100 F 1992 with 30000 miles on the clock in march 2007. A few things needs to be fixed and it's definitely not immaculate.

in shop at this time, almost done, and guess what the bill is gonna be!!!!!     $800  -- 1000.00

By the way, Honda says you have to crack the case, but the mechanic I took it to made a tool so he didn't have to
