can anny of you pro's explain how you steer on the rear tire? do you just lean your body weight a little? im just getting started with stand up's. i am gradualy learning how stand up's should feel. i havent quite gotten comfortable at getting to the ballance point standing yet.

As far as I can tell you pretty much steer by putting weight to one side of the bike......(the way you want it to go) by "hanging off" similar to riding at the track. I just cant remember to do it ever.

yo i wanna see you bounce it up in 5th ... we can barely get it in 3rd at 100mph....so i wanna see you do it in 5th

Haha i know it sounds nuts bro, but i've been on here a long time and if you check my old posts you'll see i'm not one to blow smoke up someones ass at all. I only did it once, and it was nuts. Had a blown fork seal, which acually allowed me to bounce the sh$$ out of it. I'm currently on crutches from my 2nd knee surgery, but as soon as i'm up i'll see if i can't get a video of me tryin it again. The cool thing was, goin that fast made it feel like the wind was holdin the bike up==not me lol. Right now all i can do is tell ya that i did it, and that it surprised the shit outta me lol.

But as far as the other gears...with a 600RR geared -1/+2, third gear wheelies should be no problem at all---should come up at around 9000 RPMs like no-ones business. Fourth should take more effort, but can be done. My stock 600RR came up in 3rd at 100mph with stock gearing without much trouble....what set-up are you runnin?

Lovin this stunt page boys...keep it comin!!!!

I know about the video. I had the cam on the day before but didnt wear it the day of the crash cause the fanny pack for the cam itself sucks to do wheelies with. Flops around a bit too much and takes for ever to get suited up. If only I would have known.............

So, I took another shot at doing wheelies on my 600rr with stock gearing. My question to you guys, how do you get the front up with slipping the clutch? I have been tring to do wheelies on the first gear just by snapping on the throttle at different rpms and have no luck.
Any help by u pro's would be great

I personally can not stunt. Just can't bring myself to push my bike that far and wear it out. That's my estrogen way of saying I don't have the skills.

LMAO... Don't let someone like Gixxie or Roadrashchic hear ya say that.... those girls are INSANE (and skilled)....

Personally, it's fun to watch (so long as it's a controlled environment, and not on the freeway during rush hour)... but not for me. I did a lil stoppie (back tire probably 12" off the ground) once... ONCE. Back when I was still practicing in parking lots. Chris was at the other end of the lot, taking pics, and had JUST put the camera away when he heard the *clank* as the back tire came back down. I was terrified.... as he ran up to me, I said, "that was the beginning - AND END - of my stunna career."

As for 1st gear.......just accelerate maybe 1/2 throttle at around 8k on yours hit maybe 3/4 throttle and give a slight tug on the bars and should come up no problem. I always start mine in 1st and just shift up to where I need to be. It's easier than starting in 2nd or 3rd. As for the clutch, do the same as above but at 7k or 8k twist the throttle to 3/4 and pull the clutch in a bit and release. This must be done quickly and will take some practice to get it right. Start with that and see how far ya get.
