I have to replace warped front disc, need to rebuild the forks with new springs etc and repaint/powdercoat the fork bottoms, so I thought it an ideal time to upgrade.

I'm thinking of fitting a pair of 97ish CBR600 forks after rebuilding them with stronger springs etc. I'll be keeping the 600 wheel and brakes hopefully.

Anyone done this? What forks did you use? Any advice please.

Also, I heard mention in another post of fitting a blackbird swing-arm and shock. Is this possible. Not looking for a trick rear end, just need a newer shock.

Thanks guys.
