hey everyone my name is mike and i just picked up a 2002 954 just yesterday. been on bike since seven but has been 10 years since ive had a bike, started out on a 78 yamaha 750 special, bought a katana 750 back in 92 new, and now this 954. first honda ever owned dirt or street but luv it so far already put 200 miles on it in a day. oh yeah i need to mention the bike had only 870 miles on it. any way hey every body wuz up

Hi and welcome to the boards. You have a pretty powerfull bike there. If it's been awhile since you've ridden i'd go ahead and take a local MSF course. Even if you have taken it in the past, it will be a good refresher for you.

yeah im thinking aboutit, been up around lake a few times already and it's been a lot of fun. i also live about 30 min from thunderhil raceway in willows ca. and there are a few clubs that have track days and schools for noices up to expert. a lil money but i think it would be fun to do and a good experienc.
