I would really like to get a slip-on for my F2, but have never modified anything on my bike yet. I am not necessarily looking for a high-performance boost, but a louder/better sound.

Most of my riding is done in traffic and we are seldom seen, but I would atleast like to be heard.

Is it possible to modify the stock exhaust?

Would love to hear any advice or options you can offer!

Thanks for the info, Nick!

How does the D and D sound?

I'm not looking for a race-style sound......"cop-chasing loud".

I say be original. Dare to be different. Like me

I have a D&D header and midpipe mated to an '05 GSX-R1000 tri-oval can. It's loud enough to get noticed without being annoying and it's different.

Find a stock can that you like the looks of and mate it to your existing header and pipe. I have always like the R1 carbon exhausts from the early 2000 models.
