My brother and I were planning a trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota for Labor Day. I dont know if anyone on here is from there or on the way. Im in Minneapolis, he's in Mitchell, SD. Just throwing this out there if anyone happens to be in the area, lets have a ride. Nemo road is a great way to burn a couple of hours.

NOOOOOOOOO you bastards... I am missing home already due to the niiiice curvy roads. Only thing I didnt like was it seemed like all the roads were down on traction compared to being out here in Idaho. Not a whole lotta turns here, but sticky pavement... why cant they come together? :( If I was there I would definately hook up, but its a drive and a half from here now (900 + miles lol). Enjoy, but lookout for the sand/slicker roads.

take it easy,

Chris

P.S. There was a decent sized sport bike group that hung out in Rapid City. I believe they met at the Subway on 8th street. good luck :)

I've met up with the sport bike group out there a couple of years ago when we went. There was a bunch of them that met up and did night runs through the hills. Not the smartest move Im sure.........but that was their thing. That's too bad you wont be around. As for the roads, yeah, they are kind of sandy. Other than that I never noticed anything really bad about them. Well, if you happen to be around or change your mind...........gimme a shout.
