Against a Yamaha R1 with full exhaust and on my 929 with my signiture customs, he was doing 212 with no more throttle and tucking his jacket, and i was doing 206 with my jacket tucked and no more throttle then we ran out of raod haha, i was a lil scared but its my top speed so far on a 929...

took her to 180 yesterday, tuckin with some throttle left. i think 195 is not far off with just pipe and lowered.

fastest i been on mine is 140. dont have enough balls yet. only had her a few months.

I'm not sure how fast i was goin but i passed an R6 and left him... he said the last speed he saw was 167mph.... we figured around 180mph or so.... I was still pickin up when i let off though....

I went 268 mph on my 900RR against a suzuki hayabusa. He was going 202mph because i glanced over when i was passing him. Lowering it and tucking in better I think i could hit 300mph......What? You dont believe me? I didnt believe the one about the R1 going 212. I have a 2005 R1 and a 900RR thats built out the ass.. Neither will hit 200mph.

if you think that you are traveling over 200, do me a favor and push the little button on the left under the speedo. this will make it read mph instead of kph.

Dude, look at my avatar. My top speed pushing 300+ RWHP on a turbo Hayabusa was only 228mph. A full exhaust on an R1 will not yield more than 186 mph and unless your signature customs include a rocket pack you ain't doin 206mph ... not even off a cliff

You guys need to invest in a GPS or speedohealer.

people that dont ride have the wrong image of bikes. they always think they go like 300 mph. they dont. i dont think mine will do 200 with all the road in the world. top speed isnt everyting. its how fast it gets there

My top speed on my stock 01 honda 929rr was 171mph. I ran through the gearbox like a mad man. I don't think I could of gotten anymore out of it. I did this three times on different days and my top speed was 171. first try was 165 second was 171 third was 169.

00' 929 stock. my best is 140... after i hit 130 i loose that accerlation and at 140 with 1000rpm left it doesn't feel like it will go much faster. then when i was slowing down i looked i looked at my speedo and i was doing 110, then looked up right in time to see a bird before i took it in the shoulder.... i haven't gone over 100 since..
