Hey QuinC. You can get a lot more out of that bike. Just max out in every gear, thats what i did. You have to push it till you almost red line in every single gear then up shift and hit the throttle. Do it smooth and quick so you don't lose any speed changing gears and don't use the clutch.

181 in 5th gear right at red line, no room to shift ran out of road. any idea of top speed on a 05 1KRR

Ive seen 156mph and stopped looking at speedo because the curve was more important. Still had plenty to go. I think between 175-185 is gonna be the max speed but who knows When ever I have a good enough road with out cops I'll try to break that.

I pushed it up to 299km/h on my speedometer but i think it is off because of the smaller sprocket in front -1. And I think that speedometer can't show number 3 on the first place

I am -1 in front also, that would make it read high by 7.8%. (ie: at 100 mph, you are actually doing approx. 93 mph).
