My local bank will not give me a loan for a bike... they only do auto loans. Where would I go to get a motorcycle loan?

you can try a few places online... capitalone being one of 'em. also, look for other bank and credit unions in your area. you're bound to find one that offers motorcycle loans. best of luck!

btw, nice bmw

Capitalone won't give me a loan for under $7500, so I can't use them :(

I work for State farm and we do motorcycle loans, both private party and dealer purchase. Our rates beat out Cap One and we'll do it for as low as $7500. Good Luck!

Oops, I meant to say we'll do it under $5000. Rates are higher for lower loan amounts and also year of the bike but give a local agent a call.

I got mine at eloan. The rate was a lil higher than i expected but it was also the first time i bought anything under my name. I also heard that you can sign up at credit unions and they give pretty good deals as well. What type of bike u gonna get?

I was declined by EVERY bank for my bike for a 100% loan (no down payment). My credit score was EXCELLENT and couldn't figure out why. I almost gave up, then I went to a local Credit Union. Guess what. I got the lowest APR (lower than Honda's promotions) that the Credit Union offered. Took less than 15 minutes to get the loan. I cancelled all my accounts at the bank and changed over to the Credit Union.

Try it, you won't be dissapointed.

...oh. Honda Financing was the only one that would finance me at 18.9% APR. YEAH RIGHT! My APR from the Credit Union was 8.3%. With all my aftermarket parts and gear, my bike came out to 9200.00 (8500 TTL just for the bike) and my payments are only 188.00 / month. Hope this helps.
