I stopped at the bike shop today after a hard ride and the two rear fairings were sticking way out... man I'm sick of this. I may go with the bungee solution, but I really didn't want to. Maybe I'll try some silicone.

I've got the same problem. There is a guy on eBay that seems to have a ton of them. $54.99 a piece. Are there kits to make the rear end one piece as well as make it appear to sit, "higher" off the rear tire? Kind of hard to explain, but the like the newer CBR's with the two-piece seat, how it looks like it's sitting higher due to the lack of fairings hiding all the space? Is there a kit for that for the F3's? Also, I'd like to change the seat to a two-piece seat like the one I just mentioned above. Are there kits for that? Maybe I want a new bike, hehe. I just figured they made the kits for them.

I had the same problem, so when I repainted my 97 F3 I used some real strong epoxy to hold it on the underside and it worked great!!! Looks so much better too!
