im practicin on my quad and ride some decent wheelies, but when i go too far i never think of hitting the rear brake, i always just focus on the throttle.  i guess i have to grow some balls and get over it.. any pointers on using the brake?  think i should specifically wheeliee then hit the brake to get use to it?

as soon as it comes up tap the brake.  just do that for a bit and you'll start hitting it without realizing it.

Do your tires need to be hot and sticky to do a wheelie safely (don't start bashing about how a wheelie is never safe)?

lol 2 million huh? Man I wish my bike had that much. LoL try about 5,000 then go from there. 5,000 will barley get your front wheel up but its a start like the guy said start low then increase. Do increments of 1000 until u find a good rpm, i think mine is around 8,000 to pop up in 2nd but my bike is different sprockets then stock so it might be different for u.

Okay, I finally hit my BP clutching it in 1st yesterday.. downside part being a cop had to come out of nowhere.  (lucky I had a paved walking trail ahead of me .. unlucky I have the only orange bike in town ..)
