i'm having a problem with the rear wheel spinning when i use the clutch to wheelie. the first time i tried this, the front wheel did lift about 6 inches or so, but every time since then the rear tire just spins and i get no lift at all. i'm running about 30 psi in the rear tire, should i go lower? and will lower tire pressure have any negative effects on tire wear? i use my bike for daily commuting, so i put a lot of highway miles on it.

you could be bringing the RPM's too high, dropping the clutch at higher RPM will break the rear tire loose, try dropping the clutch earlier... 5-8,000rpm.
