They are the same thing. Some ppl say bolt-on while others say slip-on. There is however a difference between a bolt/slip on vs. a full system, most noteably the $$$! Good Luck in your search!

Yeppers, very easy... There will be a clamp that goes around the pipe and attaches to the plate where your existing pipe mounts up. I did it myself.

Oh, forgot to add... sealant needs to go on around the existing mid-pipe and then you slip on the new pipe. Hence, the name "slip-on".

If you get just a slip-on, you have to cut your piping and other dumb crap. For the extra $$$ a full system is well worth it. Ecspecially if you get a PC, aftermarket air filter and so on. Too bad you don't live in Ohio. I have a buddie that works at Honda R&D here and can get any exhaust real cheap. Hell, maybe you can talk to him and he can set you up with shipping or whatever if you want to order one through them.

Slip on and bolt on are a little different in mounting. My 954rr has a bolt on where I loosen 3 bolts and the stock can falls off. And I BOLT on a new can. A slip on is put on by cutting the stock exhaust pipe at the right spot and slipping on the new one.

For a 600rr 06 is a slip-on something that I can do with minimal tools?
Or can someone recommend a slipon/bolt on that is doable at home?
