how bad is it for a bike to go over the weight limit, i ride a 02 F4i and i'm a big boy if i want to take someone on the back even the smallest girl puts me over the weight limit. how bad is it for me to do that and what does it hurt ?

Compresses your springs -- makes it like you have no suspension and could cause you to get squirrely if you hit a major bump. You can go with heavier springs to compensate for this.

Like chain said..you might need new springs, check out Race Tech..they make stiffer springs and revalving components for your suspension

Hey have you gotten a new spring? I have the same prob. Im about 250 and with my girl on the back its pushin it. Just wanted to see if u got stiffer springs, im thinkin of doin it and would love some feedback.
