hi all i just got a jardine RT-One Race Slip-On Exhaust and i am trying to install it but i have a ? i took off the the stock pipe and when i go to put on the new one i only have about 3/8 of a inch becaus there is what looks to be a lead ring that keeps me from going down more so my ? is do i remove this ring or will the slip on stay in place once i tighten everything down
