Just wanted to say hey, picked up a new 600rr on fri. Just rolled 400 miles on a midnight run tonight..... BTW...... where's the owners manual? And how do you lock your helmet to it???

Congrads! 400 miles...in one night? heh Yep, you sound quite exited. After like 300 miles, I would have said enough. On my bike, the manual was under the rear passeger seat. I don't know where it would be on your bike. Helmet: on my bike you do so by the rear seat. Under the seat, you would hook it and then lock the seat down. I don't do that because I don't want a helmet against my custom paint. I don't want swirls, or marks, or scratches. Well, enjoy and think safe (which means be paranoid of cars ;))

Congrats and welcome to the board! Post up some pics when you get a chance. As was said previously the manual was under the rear seat on the right side of mine - tool pack on the left side. On the 1000RR there's a looped wire in the tool pack that you use to lock the helmet. You put the loops through the helmet d-rings then secure to the post under the seat and lock the seat back. I usually just throw mine on the bars. Nobody wants my ratty old HJC
