sounds good 97f3rider. I heard a sound clip of a Jardine (on a buell) and I didnt care much for it. I like the D&D. How much do they run?

What is the difference between a race muffler and a street muffler? Besides the race mufflers being a little more expensive?

A race muffler usually have less packing and is usually louder than a street muffler. I have the micron high mount on my bike. I love the way it looks and sounds. The only downside is that the bend of the pipe puts the pipe close to your foot. At the track i have to keep my right heel up or my boot sits right on it.

I am looking at the Akrapovic. Anyone have one of these? I think they used to be the Scorpian but not sure. Saw some awesome mods at the MotoGP this weekend and I like the highmounts but don't want to lose the passenger pegs.

N8 when searching for these bids, do you search for other years like a 2000 F4i or something? will they fit?! Because when I go thru ebay in search of exhausts I can't find anything worthwhile. PM me.

To tell you the truth some of this stuff I found when I looked at an item and then looked at what else the person was selling, I found that D&D pipe that way and noone else had bid on it. So I dunno why it never showed up before but it came off an 00 F4, so it should fit.
This is the Jardine, I found this a few days ago, guy at my work had one on his old bike and he said he loved it. I also went to there website and you can hear them on the new CBR.

np, I am bidding on a few but I want the D&D !!! I went to the website, comparing the two Jardine and D&D, I want the D&D because my initials are DLD, close enough LOL the jardine sounds similar though, i need more clips, sound or whatever, with any exhaust. I want the low rpm rumbling and the high rpm loudness, no I don't want a harley

Yeah that was one person who outbid me at the last second, wait till that person realizes that shipping standard ground is almost 100 bucks, and thats the lowest option, the others are $150 + for shipping. whew
