So why'd the airbags go off? I won't even go so far as to say I don't go those speeds -- but I do every thing in my power to make sure I got plenty of room to accelerate and slow down.

Where is the door he hit....if this is authentic....there should be a passenger door wrapped around the front end of the bike....this makes me think that this was staged to be a little more dramatic than what it was...the accident probably did happen but not as bad as it looks here....someone cleaned the back tire pretty good as well to have not road dirt of debris on it.

There's a long twisty, and quite busy i mgiht add, road just 10 minutes form my house. This kid had just picked up his first motorcycle, and felt it best to go with a 1000cc. Well he had the bike a bout a week before he decided to got 130 through this road. He lost it, hit a curb, and went flying into a stop sign at 130mph. He was cut in half and landed in separate lawns. Some of the neighbors in the area even had to see counseling because of what they saw of the wreck. Awful....

You are correct, it was cleaned up... they werent going to put that gory mess out in the public... they cleaned all the blood/debris so they could keep the accident as a "model" of what not to do, and the risk you take if you do do stupid shit like that....

take it easy, glad I could share this w/ you guys,

Chris

Damn. That is one hell of a crash.

When i was in high school a kid went about 100 MPH down a road in town. Speed limit was 30 MPH or so. A semi pulled out in front of him. Needless to say they found body parts about a 100 ft or so from the accident scene. This wreck shown in the pic is just a reminder to be say and not stupid. Be safe....
