So why'd the airbags go off? I won't even go so far as to say I don't go those speeds -- but I do every thing in my power to make sure I got plenty of room to accelerate and slow down.

That is horrible! A guy around here on a Yamaha was traveling at a hight rate of speed like that guy on a back road and hit a telephone pole... what sux is it was about a mile away from my house and I was riding to work that day... makes ya think twice...

Where is the door he hit....if this is authentic....there should be a passenger door wrapped around the front end of the bike....this makes me think that this was staged to be a little more dramatic than what it was...the accident probably did happen but not as bad as it looks here....someone cleaned the back tire pretty good as well to have not road dirt of debris on it.

There's a long twisty, and quite busy i mgiht add, road just 10 minutes form my house. This kid had just picked up his first motorcycle, and felt it best to go with a 1000cc. Well he had the bike a bout a week before he decided to got 130 through this road. He lost it, hit a curb, and went flying into a stop sign at 130mph. He was cut in half and landed in separate lawns. Some of the neighbors in the area even had to see counseling because of what they saw of the wreck. Awful....
