Picked up my new CBR .

Thought I would share this photo with you.

This is my first fireblade, just traded in a Ducati 999, great bike, but real hard work to use!![image]

Nice Pic, I wish I had the oppurtunity for a black belly pan. I`m from Liverpool In England, My bikes black like yours but the belly pan is silver. Looks sooooo much better all black. I`ll post a pic later when i get the hang of the site.

I had a 996, which I understand was worse than your 999 from an ergo point of view... loved looking at the bike, but realized I put on toomany miles in a year. And hated the pocket shredding relationship with the mechanic .

You'll love this bike! It's the best bike I've ever owned.

As whippet said, a great bike to look at, but oh so expensive to service, any way,thought you may like to see my 999.
Great bike, but I found it hard to go quick on, did not really find it uncomfortable, we did 1600 miles in 4 days up in Scotland, with no trouble. As far as reliability is concerned,I did 4500 miles on mine and it never missed a beat. They really do handle great.
