I came across these bar ends on this site.

http://www.motovationusa.com/ssh01.html

they weigh a little more and they say their supposed to help with comfort on your hands, reduce vibrations and give you a smother ride. I kind of doubt it, does anybody know anything or have them on their bike? Do they work?

give some feedback when possible...
thanks...

Try some Gel Grips and/or Gel Gloves.

Not sure about your bike, but mine is so smooth you cant hardly tell it is accelerating except for the front wheel coming off the ground.

And just gets smoother the faster you go :)

I will say it is much smoother in the bars than my 06 FJR1300A

Those look extremely similar to Throttlemeister bar ends, which are made of solid stainless steel, but with Throttlemeister bar ends the right one is a cruise control. I have them on my bike, along with some Heli bars and the combination allows me to travel much greater distances in comfort vs. the stock bars and bar ends. I too have gel grips...but honestly almost any aftermarket grip is more comfy than the stock grips.

Check out the throttlemeister and the heli bars @...

www.throttlemeister.com
www.helibars.com

Couple those two items with some gel grips and an aftermarket seat (Corbin or Sargent) and you just created the meanest sport-touring bike on the planet!
