just make sure he is bone stock see that he is not spraying of with a turbo. bone stock hes dead. now take in that he may also be geared. but if he is on the top he is history. just make it a mile run if he is.

The 955i gives up a few years technology, a cylinder, 50ccs and pure race breading... probably some of the new 600s would come really close to it. The thing is the triumph is a really classy bike - very different role than the RR. I'm not sure why he wanted to race as he should have known better - then again - why do civics with fart cans pull up next to a bike and want to race?

wow...glad to here you won, his bike isn't on the same playing field with other liter bikes, more sport tour than super bike. The only triumph that i have personally seen that impressed me is their new 600; one of the guys rode up on one a couple of weeks ago, and he really seemed to keep up with the other 600's in the group; Don't get me wrong, the euro bikes are very nice, and my next bike my very well be an aprilia or ducati, but I know going in that i'd be giving up so power for some sharper handling. Triumph has come a long ways, as have ducati and aprilia, but they just aren't in the same category with the big 3 (okay 4 but I hate yamaha);
