well it happened today after ridding for about 3 weeks i ran into a group of motorcycles 3 bikes 1 suzki and 2 older hondas. i was on my way back to work from lunch. the guys on the hondas like my bike and rode on the suki followed me to the next light, where he asked if wanted to go for it! i pointed to the tail section of my bike to show him the 1000rr.. he was on a 600 i belive .. he say come on ! i figured why not this was not a heavly cop area and the road was good and the weather today is hot ( plus i weas running a little late back from lunch) so we went for it on green killed him all the way 2 miles .. then he follows me back to work to ask what worki have done to my bike.. i tell bone stock .. he can't belive it .. has anybody eles tell them there bike is faster than it should be ?

don't think for a minute it was the 1000cc that helped you win the race...but it was the sticker that said 1000RR that won it for you!

seriously...didn't the guy even stop to think that it's a liter bike? oh wait...he didn't! good kill!

I have a stock 95 cbr 900rr with 31k miles on it and I raced up against a gixer 2001 750 . We both started off slow to about 40 and got on it. I was leaving him behind for a couple of gears untill I red lined and it started rev limiting on me and then he blew by me. I need to learn how to shift better. LOL

well i have had your same story but the 600rr winning, guy at the drag strip just sucked at racing, like 955of ppl on bikes. my friend has a 750 gsxr, and i can walk him all day. cause he cant launch it.when you start getting 1.6 in the 60fts not maybe ppl can hang with you.
