I gave my '90 a bit of TLC this weekend... a wash and a decent polish up... comes up like new.... except some small scratches and stone chips. I also gave the rear fender a chop job... not as severe as yours TimbucTwo but certainly gets rid of that grandpa bike look (no offence to anyone with grandkids!). I like it anyway!!

That looks nice, just found this:
http://cgi.ebay.de/Kennzeichenhalter-GSX-R-R6-R1-CBR-FAZER-600-1000-FZ6_W0QQitemZ280080708371QQihZ018QQcategoryZ49935QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

universal plateholder, maybee it could be used for it...
If not, not to much money is lost.

Michnet76: It loks much better. I think Honda over did it with the stock fender.

Chitownart: My canister is a Two Brothers carbon fiber C5 just like the one that Madkawa was pointing out in the photo.

Madkawa: The bike that you found on the internet has the turn signals that I was going to instal in the spring. Nice going on the tail work. With that old set-up you could have changed your user name to mudflap.

To all: Max Biaggi has a more swept up canister on his bike and cleaner tail section. Take  look at this photo to see a nice tail section.

You see this pic here the guy is pointing at. There will be a bolt and nut there. plus another two on the side.

Mass production? I can talk to my friend about it, who is interested?

I will take the bike out this weekend for a polish then a photo shoot. to be placed in the March Voting Thread.
Haven't got any nice pictures lately. All of them are from my mobile phone.

Cheers

Hey I also got tired of the 'big ugly' and I winded up with eliminating the fender all together and mounting the plate on the swingarm.

The fender eliminator needs some adjustments.. went for a long trip today and the thing gave way... guess due to the wind that goes into the side airvents and pushed it down. small problem

The original fender has a hole in the middle, I wondered what that hole was for... now maybe I know. Its to let the air pass through at high speeds. Can someone confirm this... I need to make some slight modifications...

cheers
