all i do when in first using the throttle:

get to about 40-50 mph let off really qick then gun it until the front end comes up. if you gun it to much it will come up real fast and may be scary at first so be careull kep your foot close to the rear brake in case it goes up to fast. it will take some time to know the sweet spot in yout throttle to keep the front end up.

people say that throttle wheeles are more dangerous.you have more control if you use the clutch methiod.

Also make sure you butt is back on the seat, body stiff and preload the suspension by bouncing. Timing is everything. I can get my 600RR up in second with chop / bounce.

Or just a change the rear sproket, like my previous owner did. I don't even need to gun it all the way and the front wheel comes up.

i do not think that there are any bikes that you have to "gun it all the way" to get the front wheel off of the ground

I roll about 45mph in second gear , chopp off the throttle slightly , and quickly nail it . Wheeeeeeee Up we go .

Now with my one down front sprocket ( which I love ) I roll about 35 in second , chopp off , then nail ........The rest is in the balance.

Be sure to cover you back brake , and NEVER pull in the clutch if you get it up to tall or fast , Just chopp off the throttle and hit the back brakes.

Practice on a fiffty or a smaller bike .......HELPS ALOT

Clutch it, clutch it, clutch it. It's so much easier. once you get used to clutching it up you'll never go back to cracking the throttle to bring the front end north. Nate.

stay in first gear , come to a complete stop and pull in the clutch tap the rear brake then rev it up and let go of the clutch, you should be in a nice wheelie after that .

Get to 30 and do not clutch or gap it, just open it up. At 7k or 8k you will start a whellie. Then change to 2nd gear when the front tire is like 2 feet off of the ground. When you want to bring it down just change to 3rd gear. But sometimes if you do it right you can stay up in 3rd. Also do not rev the piss out of your bike in 1st gear also not good.

When I had my 600 I always used the clutch for wheelies. Now I never do wether I'm bringin it up in 1st or 2nd. Gotta love the extra power of the 929.
