12 O'Clocker...I was at the same freaking race(s) all weekend!!! That place is like 'Heaven". The sweet smell of race fuel, burning rubber, mmm. Hell, when I got home Sunday night, for some odd reason, I was still hearing the roars of the bikes in my head! lol, and in my sleep, I even had "that" smell of race fuel stuck in my mind! Those races were so f**king awesome! Did you get to see that girl that raced? She came in last, but she had to of been pretty damn good to be there racing. Of course, I'm a huge Honda fan, and I hate to admit it, but Suzuki took 1st place the whole weekend. I talked to one of the Honda Technician's, TJ, and he was the coolest guy that I've ever met. It's obvious that Suzuki has traction control, and Honda doesn't. He said that if Honda did have TC, they'd walk away with 1st place every time. I asked him if Honda was ever going to get TC, and he said that they've been talking about it, but it could be 1-XXX years until they actually do it, if at all. So that means that every single Honda Rider out there is riding strictly off talent, pure racing, no TC for that extra "boost". Granted, Mladin and Spies are excellent racers, but take away their TC and...who'd of "really" won? Even with the 600's, Hacking (Yamaha) was flawless. Even though Honda didn't take 1st in any race, I'll always be a Honda fan! Every racer that I met, and I mean ALL!!! were the nicest people that you'll ever meet. I shook their hands, we talked for quite awhile, and so on. Hell, that TJ guy even took us in the Honda Tour bus that Duhamel and Zemke use's! they were just sitting there chilling. I tripped down the freaking stairs in the bus and spilled my beer on Nicky's picture! I was so embarassed. They laughed and told me to keep it, that they were tired of seeing him everywhere, joking around of course. Nicky was there the whole weekend watching his brothers. After Friday evening, he never got out much, just to watch the races, because there were so many people that were "Star Struck". He had to have the Police surround him where ever he went, even in the pits watching his brothers! I got to meet him and his brothers. Not for long though. Long enough to shake their hands, get autographs, and wish them luck. The first racer that I met was Mladin. While we were talking, some lady reached over and grabbed his leathers that he had pulled down, pulled him closer to her and started begging him for his autograph. Some of those people there probally didn't even like motorcycle racing. Alot of people were rude, just wanted autographs. I'm sorry guys. I could go on-and-on-and-on about the weekend that I got to enjoy with my friends and idols, but I wouldn't have enough room and I don't want it to be too long. this past weekend is an experience that I'll never forget!

Next time we'll all have to head down together, I know some guys from texas that are probably going to be up here with us next year...
I definatly like Honda better than Suzuki, and I defiantly think they make a more bulletproof bike, but as far as speed and racing goes, they seem to have the upper hand right now with there GSXR. I think if we threw Spies and Duhamel both on GSXR's that Spies would probably win, but then again, if we threw them both on CBR's Duhamel would probably win, just a guess though, but would be interesting to see ehh.

Great pics!
Got tied up in other stuff last weekend and couldn't make it out.
May be next year.

Count me in on a group ride up if you go thru Columbus.

Funny you should mention that, I did read your post before you left for mid-ohio, I actually did see your trailer, but didnt see you anywhere, I told a buddy I was with to keep an eye out for you too. (Assuming you would be in green)
I'm sure I'll run into you next year though

by the way, does anyone know who the rider is that has the custom plate that says "NITRO" ? we ran into him on the interstate, of course you know how it is when you run into some other bikes, you got to try and show off a little, lol.... then we saw him again pulling into mid-ohio, but he disappeared after that. I thought I seen a pic of his bike somewhere before, mabey it wasnt on this forum, I cant remeber.
