Yeah you can slip the clutch just like on any other bike, but be careful. That thing has alot of power and I'm sure it could get away from you faster than you can imagine. Be sure to cover the brake and start with just a little rpms at a time

He means to start out at like 4000rpm, if the front end doesn't come up like you want it to try 4500rpm and so on until you get the desired height. Good luck and be careful.

try rolling about 30 mph or so when learning easier to control the height and smoother than starting from a stop. i used 2nd gear to learn on way back when it was smoother 1'st can be kinda twitchy when learning. Be sure to practice covering your rear brake and using it, it can save you in a situation

and if she is that easy send her over to me!!! hahahaa

but i seriously doubt that you should be clutching a 1000 if you dont know what anybody is talking about but thats just me. make sure you post some pics before and after... and also i wish people would just search for this crap. i know it is like this on every forum. but i am not going to keep telling everybody how to do damn wheelies all the time. i think me and jesse are gonna have to make a damn how-to vid and be done with it.

Heres what I want to know. Do you already know how to do wheelies? And if not, Why are you trying to learn wheelies for the first time on a 1000RR???

i am not sick of people asking for help i am sick of people asking how to do a wheelie. if you need help on a certain thing that is one thing but it seems like every thread turns into how to do a plain jane sit down.
