So.

Im lookin for a new helmet. I've liked the designs and leight weight of most of the SUOMY's and the price in not an issue for me.

I just want to know how the quality is. they aren't a brand im too familiar with such as bell, arai, shoei, hjc etc..

But im also lookin at the SHOEI X-11 Kiyonari edition. Its a little bit cheaper and I've owned a few SHOEI's before this. so please let me know.

Thanks,
Adam

they're good helmets if they fit you. i would try them out first. good quality. they're BSI right? if so, they're just as good if not better than SNELL.

Go with Arai, best on the market. You won't be disappointed.

there's no such thing as the best helmet on the market. just like there is no best bike on the market. they all cater to different tastes and people. an arai head may never like a shoei because of fit. just like a shoei head may not ever fit an arai. does that make one helmet better than another? no. i had an arai and i didn't like it. ended up trading for a shoei. doesn't mean i think shoei is better.

well I was already over there to order a part and they had that helmet in stock. So i bought the hayden laguna helmet and ordered the jacket while I was there. Either way Mach 1 or champion would have to order the jacket and i'd still have to wait 3-4 days for it to get here.

I did goto mach 1 before i went over there to check it out. pretty cool little place they have there. Talked to the owners wfe *little asian woman* for a couple minutes. cool buncha people there.

Not sure how often you go there but they have like 25-30% off tires right now, and they have quite a nice selection to choose from. just FYI.

Are you in Tahoe or are you in socal? I work off superior and 15th street. 1 block down from mach 1.

i think their tires are always 25-30% off hahaha...and if you get work done, for you, he'll take 15% off. it's a mach 1 thing. if you've been there, you would laugh.

for me only right? lol. Im sure they remember you if you come in again though. I've been goin to champion probably 3-4 times this month and talked to the same guy "Mike." I have to refresh his memory each time I go in there cause he never remember me. Even though I talk to him for about 30-45minutes each time im there. lol. HE is a great guy and a good personality.

I wouldn't say he has all-timers. Just part timers or some timers lol.

Cheers.

Adam

The Suomy is an awesome helmet. I personally wear the Spec-1R Extreme Gambler.

mach 1 can be pretty pricy too. but long is pretty good. i had a really bad experience with a small shop in torrance and brought it to mach 1 after. it cost more money but my bike ran so much better after i took it to them. so i recommend them. yeah we should go ride. my bike should be running on monday. i would've done it tonight but i'm too lazy.
