Last night was the first night I have ever run at the track. I only got two runs in because we got there kind of late. The first run I staged, popped the clutch at 5k and pulled the front wheel up about 2 feet. I had a .586 light, 2.275 60', 8.057 1/8, and 12.092 @120.05. The second run I didn't tach it up as much and slipped the clutch and bogged it. .703 light, 2.564 60', 8.366 1/8, and 12.425@119. Are there any techniques to improve 60' i.e. tire pressure, postion on the bike off the line, etc. What are realistic times on a 04 600f4i for a 145 lb. rider?
Thanks Rob

See the team name? slide that clutch out untill it hits the rev limiter if you have to. pilam is right, pre-stage your clutch at the line. leave on the last yellow, throw the clutch out hard until the you fell the front end start to lift and slightly pull it back in just enough to keep the tire skimming on the ground. slowly let it out all the way. I have watched Ricky Gadson and Vince Woska slide the clutch all the way thru 1st gear and never put the wheel on the ground. if you can master your clutch off the line nobody will touch you! just be carefull!!!! i have seen four flipovers this year! all on 600s.
