Wondering about custom Fender Elminator - 8/20/2006 6:47:11 PM    trance92071 Posts: 57 Joined: 8/20/2006 Status: offline Yeah i was wondering if anyone has done this with the F2. I have a 92' and i really want to d this myself because i know on some of the newer bikes it is easy to make a kit your self. I bought L brackets for the licence plate that i would like to use for mounting the licence plate. but when i wnet to take that huge ugly rear fender piece off i noticed that it was also connected to the light so i do not know how i would mount the rear brake light. What year is that? I have a '92 and I have that huge black metal bracket that runs along the entire underside of the rear tail. I want that gone but I need to keep the exhaust mount of course and would like to try to keep the rear peg mounts as well. I hope this last part doesn't make me sound too much like a n00b, but what's the cylendar just above the exhaust? I've seen it a lot but didn't know what it was for. I am pretty sure I don't have one on my bike....? I would assume our shocks aren't spring loaded only. Maybe our canister is located somewhere else?
