Dang it! I was psyched for a second. Tacoma is a ways away. I Live a little north of Seattle....
I was going to suggest hitting Chuckanut Drive decent twisties and nice view.
I am hoping to find some riders near-by for regular rides... Anyone out there? Us Washingtonians only get a small window of riding time before we start rusting again....

We ought to get a group of us webbed footed washingtonians together for a ride.
I live in Everett WA. A little north of Seattle.

I looked on MapQuest and did a basic "Get directions from Everett to Tacoma and this is what it returned:

Total Est. Time: 1 hour, 7 minutes Total Est. Distance: 59.88 miles

That really isn't that bad if its correct.

We should figure out a centrally located spot to meet up and plan a ride somewhere.
Would be really cool if we could get a few of us all together. I have been stuck riding alone since my only fellow MC riding friends have thier bikes tore down. I mean wtf tear it down in the off season not riding season! My friends are idiots, LOL

I would prefer to avoid riding in downtown Seattle as I can't stand all the one way streets and idiot cagers in a hurry to go to starbucks.
But sems to me Seattle area would be around the 1/2 way point if we were to meet up.

Any others interested?

I miss living in Eastern Washington.
Only lived in the Tri-Cities area for about 2 years but the weather there compared to Western WA. is 100 times nicer. (Longer summers, Colder but drier winters) = More ride time.
Haven't taken this bike on a long ride yet as I am still uncertain of how she'd do. Runs strong and all but I haven't gotten to go over the bike the way I'd like to before going too far from home. I plan on working on the bike when riding season is over on this side of the mountains. I have a new complete body kit, and just bought a gas tank to replace the old stuff. give the bike a nice face lift so she's pretty next season. When I do that I plan on going over the mechanical stuff as well since the bike will be up anyhow.
