I really need help putting a fender eliminator on my 954. I have the kit already, but I apparently have to drill two holes and strip the wires to connect to the new lights... has anyone done this on their own? If so, how difficult is it to rewire, and if I mess up is it fixable? I don't want to pay 150 bucks for someone to put it on, but replacing the wires would probably be a lot more... any help would be greatly appreciated!

naw it aint that hard, you just gotta remove the seats and tail section so you'll have room to work. wit the lights (if you have stock lights cut the wires close to the blinkers and remember which one is to what side, each blinker is gonna have green(ground) and another color) just connect them to the wiring that comes wit the kit. trust me its not as hard as you might think you just might have to take apart the trunk area to cut and replace if necessary.

sounds good, thanks man! I'm off on Monday, and I broke both left side blinkers off in a spill this last weekend, so its time to give it a whirl.

Yeah that was easy... took me about 2 hours... I'll post up some pics when I upload them.
