Well I've goten so comfortable on my standup wheelies now, I started to try Tank Spreaders today on my CBR, I got a few in, not very high, everytime I get the bike Hi, I slide off and land on the seat (continuting to ride the wheelie of course, lol) I know everyone recommends having a dented tank, but I have a friend who I have watched on a CBR1000RR do tank wheelies with a stock tank! So I know its possible, just having trouble holding myself up, while not twisting the throttle too far. Its so much easier on a dirtbike, damn it! Any tips, besides denting my tank in are welcome, I am not going to dent my tank, lol.

You just have to be in good shape. Just hold yourself up there and dont pull back on the throttle hard as it is coming up so you dont flip over.. You will get it

if you dont want to dent your tank, cut some small strips of grip tape and put them right behind the gas cap. you dont need to be in shape to be a stunter.

Its gonna be hard to get a good looking spreader without denting the tank from what I have seen. A dent will cup your a$$ and let your legs spread out. I have tried without a dent on my F4i but they aren't relly spreaders, more like tank danglers. With a dent it will let you roll onto your tail bone and spread your legs more. <<<<<This is all that I have read so far, I have to get a deadblow and I'll let you know from my experience. I wasn't gonna dent my tank either, but I hit a pheasent (sp) (nice big bird, it bounced off of my arm and dented the tank when it hit that) the other day and it ended up putting a nice dent in my tank for me so I said f**k it I'm just gonna dent the b!tch LOL

you really dont need a hand brake to bring spreaders back. just get out of that mental block. Everyone was killing it w/ spreader scrapes 2 years ago when hand brakes were barely catching on. you have so much motor brake w/ ur sprocket that you can get them done easily.
