i have the same gps as you (roxy) so how did you attach it to your mount?

Its a piece of small bungee cord (off an old backpack) tied to the battery compartment ring. It goes through a hole in the mount directly below the gps and a knot in the cord wedges in the mount. That way I can just remove the temptation for thieves to mess with a gps on a bike and take it with me when I stop somewhere. The other cord on the bottom is just a backup.

I have an etrex and id like to mount it to the bike. I just bought a magellan roadmate 700 for the parents for xmas..tried it out love it....map scrolls as you drive and it has a 10gb hard drive that stores maps and several million places in usa and canada click on a symbol itll give you phone number address directions etc and all that speed altitude etc. plus it was only $230

'Tis the season - my lovely wife also gave me a GPS for Christmas. I was not expecting it at all. I love it... it's the Garmin i5. Very bike friendly.

Oh ya, she also gave me an August track day reservation for Chistmas. She's the best!
