2006 cbr ='s best looking sportbike.......2007 cbr ='s best looking sportbike. I really like the new one. My first thought was RC-51. If honda wanted to be lazy the new 600 would look like the latest 1000 rr (which looks pretty dang good). I bet this new cbr 600 looks mean in person.

makes me glad i bought the 675! im dissapointed cause i was expecting a brand new looking bike and it still looks like a 1kRR copy off. But i guess alot of the other companies have their 600 look just like their 1000's. oh well,

This horrible brake light position below the muffler is an absolute disaster & deal-breaker UNLESS the aftermarket can come up with a way to remedy that. A lot of the bike looks pretty good. But the A$$ end is horrible in my view.

I just bought the last red/black 2006 CBR600RR in June. I'm glad I did. The new 07's kind of have a Buell type front on them. Not the design of the headlights or anything, but from the side, the front is so high off the front fender that it kind of looks like a Buell. Look at it, then the Buell Firestorm and you'll see what I mean.

I thought that BHP was "brake" horse power.

quote:

ORIGINAL: dwhite645

BHP = British Horse Power
RWHP = HP at the wheel(s) on a dyno
HP = same as BHP

I've been stewing over the new '07 all day, obviously from my other posts, and the more I think about it the more disgusted I am. I believe Honda completely copied the front from the R6 and the fairings from gixxers, as someone said above ^ in an effort to try to sway potential yami and gixxer buyers onto the Honda, which I can't blame them, but seriously, come up with new ideas. To top it all off they're still using the heinous turn signals since 1985 or whenever...point is a long time. Tail light on the mud flap? Whomever came up with that idea should be beaten. I can see it for track days just removing it, but even most track guys ride it on the street and don't want a gay light hanging down. I'm sure it's wired so that even removing it for track days would be a pain.
All in all, I'm sure it's a fine machine and still sweet, but I won't be buying one. I had better get a 1000 RR next year before they ruin that. end rant.

brancart: how is yout t675? Is there anything that you dont like about it? Anything that stands out different or better the RR families?

Blue fox: Yeah the front end of the 07' kind of does look like the Buell Firestrom...especailly if everyone looks on the first page and check out the pic with the white 07 and the red 06....the front is a little higher.....

It's nice for us track day goers! All you have to do is take off the fender assembly...no more duct tape!!! I like everything about the new design, but I'm curious how frame sliders are going to mount?

Ho hum.

Lots of peeved peeps.

I had hoped Honda would answer the technology and performance of the new R6 with something truly benchmark setting, but it seems its not to be.

One thing this does confirm for me - my 04' RR will be my last RR. When it comes time to sell up i'll be going for something completely different, like a Mille , 749, or even an MV.

Take a hack saw and chop off the exhaust section and there you go...GP style straight pipe
