i got a chance today to try my buddys stock 2006 yzf r6s, the thing is a wheelie machine compared to my 2004 cbr600rr....why is his bike so easy to wheelie in 2nd gear, i can get my cbr up in2nd gear but his is a lot easier

gearing more than likely. what the gearing on yours? on his?

I've read that the RR has a longer swing arm and more weight foward.

I've owned an 03 R6 and could wheelie it all day even in 3rd. I have a new 06 RR and it definetly doesnt come up as easy, but it could be cause of a few reasons, the most obvious being that Im not a complete retard like i was when i owned the R6.

I think the guy hit the nail on the head when he said gearing and the swing arm issue. The bikes ride almost identically in my opinion.
