I am trying to install a slip-on Two Bros exhaust on my 2005 CBR1000RR. Does any one know what to do with the power valve and the cables attached to the stock exhaust? The instructions call for "disconnecting the cables from thr power valve on the right and removing from the servo on the left". Your help will be greatly appreciated.

take the cables off of the servo the valve is inside the exhaust it goes with the pipe you can take the cables off of it or leave them both items are going away anyway leave the servo attached and plugged in since yours is an 05 the servo is on the engine go to this site http://hooliganbiketech.dynup.net/hondacbr1000rrweb/1000RR_frameindex.htm and look for the heading on the left labeled Exhaust Gas Control Valve

most dynos have shown that the yosh full system doesnt offer as much hp as a quality slip on for example on 1000rr.net you will find charts that show a yosh full giving 5hp the arata slip on gives more than that without a PC go with anything else

I would like to know about fit, tail section modification was it needed? sound are there two different baffles (race & street). Is it oval like yosh or a can like traditional older bikes exhaust and does it stick way out of the tail section? I 've also read sometimes you have to remove the stock heat shield to get them to fit! I guess your right pics are the best to answer most questions. Let me explain I do mostly track days but some street riding. I 'm currently riding street to get first 600 miles to due service before first track day. I have an 06 CBR1000RR and looking for exhaust and I ahd a CBR929RR prior and had a 2 Brothers on it and I liked the sound.

Iron, as you can see I run the two brothers, i Love it, my entire MC club is jealous. As far as the fit initially i left the heat shield on but took it off for a cleaner look. As far as the fit everything went back on fine. It was pretty painless to install. Thumbnail Image
