where do you get your info from shraz? making pretty bold statements and not one link to back any of it up. how many years have they made the f4i? 03-06? if anything i could see a new F series bike out, but they would have enveiled it last week, im with dthompson, none of the other bikes were listed, they only had like 5 powersports vehicles listed anyway, and we all know the lineup is bigger than that. i think we have another year or two before we see something like an F5i.

The F4i will not be scraped for 07. Not sure of colors and stuff but I do know it will be coming back.

Sorry to drag this back up, but I've been waiting to order an 07 when the new colors came out and both dealers in the Oklahoma City area say that their dealer books don't list the F4i as being available to order in 07. Sorry to have this be my first post, but does someone have anything besides "what would make sense" to counter their claims?

A salesman at the dealer said that it will be discountinued. Looks as though '06 was the last year. However, the salesmen typically don't know they're ass from a hole in the ground, but it might be true.

I just talked with a manager at a Honda dealership and he said the F4i was not on the order list for '07. He said he is pretty sure they are dicontinued.

The trend seems to be taking the previous years top of the line 600, smoothing it out, and labeling it an all around bike. So we might see a 05-06 600RR "F4i" with a bannana seat. With a new chassis/engine it will most likely be the F5.

I'd say if all this "F4i discontinued" hoopla is true, we'll probly see an F5 which hasnt been announced yet. Hell it might even take a year for us to see it. Honda has always been about practicality, this is why they kept the F4i around in the first place even know they had a higher performance 600. Even in the 90's the F3 and F4 were all about performance, while retaining on the street practicality. It doesnt make sense that they'd get rid of their '600 streetbike' and not have a replacement in the works.

You guys keep leaving out the bean counter factor.

1 600 class bike is easier to manufacture and support than 2.
This could be a sign that Honda is going to get their head out their butts and really support a 600 race program, and not that half assed American Honda attempt or Ten Kate. Not to down those guys, but I wanna see a full on HRC 600 program from Honda.

I got friends that keep clowning Honda, talking about 'no respect'. They need a sound 'open-handed slap in the mouth'.

I don't understand why they would get rid of it with just about every company having 2 600s.
