Hey everyone my name is Brett, and I am a new owner to a 2001 CBR 600 F4i. So far I have had the bike for a week and it seems like a great bike. I am 15 years old but I have been riding since I was only 4 years old. The reason I signed up is because there are a few minor problems I think may be wrong with the bike and I wanted to make sure I take it apart the right way before I end up screwing something up. Well thankyou and hopefully we can help each other out.

Whats up all!! I am new to the forum....now that I have a CBR I feel at home. I have alot of questions so I'll be around for a bit if you have info dont hesitate to post back. OK....so I bought a 2001 929RR from a guy, I go to the registry and Im having some problems transferring the title over to me. They tell me he needs to have it title in his name before it can turn over to me.....( I know it was dumb to pay for it without it titled in his name...im still kicking myself) I ran a vin check and its not stolen so no wories there. now i cant get in contact with the guy to go down and have it switched so Im stuck with a bike I cant ride. It seems like the abandoned title road is long -travelled and not a definite so Im thinking about buying a clean frame and swapping over parts so I can finally ride it ...legally. And advice from anyone

Hey everyone, im Jon. I ride, or rather rode a 89 F till it was stolen. Got it back though and i've been fixin it for almost a year now and it just about ready. bought it three years ago and rode year round for almost a year and a half. It was stolen from my apartment in Wylie during the day and recovered in Lewisville two months later in a drug bust. Landscape guy that mowed at the complex was the one that stole it. It had been painted black krylon and then red, lots of red. The left lower fairing and access cover where broken off and the factory rear hugger missing. Full tank of gas though but busted gas cap and ignition, the gas cap i lost riding it home on Bush. As of right now its been completely striped and put back together. The paint also striped and the remaining panels coated in Lambo Cali Orange. Hope to be on the road in the next week or so.
