Hello.  Just registered and excited about this site.  I have an 08 CBR600RR and I''m loving it.  It''s my first one and have only got it for about 3 months now.  Anyways, glad to have this site.  Not only for answers, but to learn more and gain more knowledge about motorcycles.  I am a tech on cars, but never touched a motorcycle...starting to though.  Any ways, let''s all be safe and enjoy the ride.

Hi, I''m Kym.
I have been riding for 15 years with some breaks in between.  Just got the 08 candy red, silver and black 1000rr and just LOVE it.  I really appreciate this site as I still have lots of questions and try to find my answers on past posts before asking a question.  I am a woman. 5''5", 130lbs, strong, adventurous and totally in love with my new bike!!!!  Will soon purchase: Convertibars, fender eliminator kit, Taylormade exhaust and a more comfy seat (any suggestions??). Be safe everyone.

Hi everybody, joined a few weeks ago, but it seems like my computer has problems with it''s cookies or something so it wouldn''t allow me to post. Regardless, my name is Eugene and I recently picked up a 91 600F2. Anyone happen to know a good bike shop to take my bike to in southern california (north orange county area)?

thanks,

eugene

Welcome everyone!

Kym- most people on this forum prefer Sergeant seats over Corbin, but I have also heard that there is a gel seat for the 08 1KRR

ixsaves13- The site has been going through some changes. Your computer probably wasn''t the problem.

Again, Welcome!

What up. Today I just bought my first serious bike. 94 1000f Hurricane. Cosmeticly messed up but I rode it home. Just found the site. Thanks for having one. Time to find some plastic.

Greetings. I passed my knowledge test yesterday, bought a 1999 CBR 600 F4 today. (I used this forum to learn what to get, and how) First road bike, have a month to go before I can take my skills test (so i can ride without a supervisor) and a whole lot of questions. Come from a family of bike lovers (Dad was a world class motocross competitor before my time) but never took the opportunity to get one until now. I have a few friends to ride with locally, but I''m hoping to find many more. I''m pretty much a blank slate, don''t have any habits yet, so I''m here to find the good ones and avoid the bad ones. Nice to have found you all.

Hello. Just bought 1987 CBR1000 with 50k. I''ve had a few other project bikes in the past, Heathkit minibike as a kid, 1980 xs650 standard style in college, 1994 DR650 dual sport right after college, that all reached various degrees of success but I do not consider myself anything but a newbie / rookie / beginner rider.  This CBR seems to run well enough but its aesthetics are poor and it has a few minor mechanical issues I''d like to address with your assistance in these forums. I''m a family man with obligations and almost no extra money. I''m not a "live to ride" type of guy and am not interested in any "need for speed" posturing. I do prefer the honda brand but would have been equally pleased with a shadow 500 or magna v45, etc. I chose this bike with my wife''s blessing because it was very inexpensive and ran well. With your  help I would like to make it a reliable commuter with minimum investment.

Hello!

I used to ride a first-generation VFR700R.  After several years away from the sport, I just bought a new/old stock 2007 CBR600RR.  It''s an amazing bike (as you all know)!

And Middle Tennessee is the ideal place to ride!
