This is a great site. I have been browsing it for a few days now and I feel very overwhelmed with all the information the members have. I just recently purchased a 1990 1000f and I love it. I got it on craigslist and I cannot take my eyes off of it. I am in love, and her name is Sheila!!!

Howdy fellas my name is Ryan and I just purchased my first bike, an 88 600f with approx 40000 mi as you might of guessed she has a few problems. While I am an average auto mechanic I m new to the world of motorcycles but I am interested in learning all I can. I have only ridden about 2000 mi i love it already and plan on buying a newer bike, until then I hope I can learn to work on this beast with some assistance. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hello to all. I am a new member. I have been gathering and learning from all of you for a few months now, this is a great resource for help and how-tos.  I started out in 1992 on a Rebel 450. Sold it to pay medical bills from a snowboarding jump gone bad.  I have since purchased a 98 CBR 900RR.  I know its alot of bike and I do my best to keep checking myself and to respect the bike and its abilities beyond my capabilities.  I am 34years old learning turning techniques and body possitions lately...I am also interested in learning throttle technique and extreme acceleration control, as well as How to lean off the bike properly.  Pleased to be a part of the forum, hopefully I can add to its preferred professionalism and insight.

Thanks again,
Josh

Hi all. I''ve been  lurking here for awhile, so I decided I''''''''d better introduce myself. I''m Garrett and I live in Texas. I''ve owned a couple of Honda''s in the past, a CB250 and CB700. Right now I currently own an Old 83 Kawasaki ZX6; kinda restored in a way, but it runs really good. In the near future, I have my eye on one of the newer CBR''s. I love those bikes!

Anyway, good to be here and I''ll be looking forward to some conversation.

Garrett

My dream is to own an CBR 600 RR. Still, I''m working and saving money for it. Since my country has high tax rate for Motorbike. That would be a big problem. Like I''m going to buy 2 CBR T_T

First timer on Forums but now that I am on disability and have way to much time on my hands I wanted to get into it. I ride a 2005 CBR1000rr which I love but due to a drunk driver It is no longer in working condition but with the help of ebay and craigslist I am slowing finding all the parts needed for it to be my baby again. I have already read some of the posts on this forum page and there is a lot of great people on here so I hope i learn lots and can also share lots with everyone.
