Wow what kind of riding do you all do?  I open it when ever I get a chance but traffic dicates the commute most of the time, filled up today with the reserve light blinking 2 bars at 185 miles.

This is on a completely stock 05, 6th gear in traffic = better mileage!

When I first got it I was coming on at like 75-85miles.  No joke.  Then I got my speeding ticket (90 in a 65).  I now get around 150 before blinking...I could get probably 180.  I average 38-40mpg.

I don't think I ever got more that 125 before I got my reserve bars.

150-170 miles per...
mostly commuting, but I hit triple digits enough to call it a sportbike.

Has anyone collected any data to determine at what speed/ rpm would yield the best and worst fuel economy?

Me too, plus I vary my intensity level in a tank.  So I don't know what I'd really get.  The best I've seen personally is 35.5 worst is 24ish.  That's street only.

I get around 120 before the light comes on depending on how im riding. I have gotten as much as 140 and as little as 100 before, so it can vary a bit
