The arm that that slips into the flapper and opens and closes it was easily disabled by slipping it out with needle nose plyers.The rod will probably still go thru the same operation but the flapper will stay open seeing that it is no longer connected.Was able to do this with out removing any parts from the bike.

why didnt you just pull the hose and plug it?

yes, i guess maybe i can be a jerk, but i am tired of reading the same questions and hearing the same would be experts give out wrong info.

Because I am an a-hole.Was looking on the wrong side and didnt see it.After when I got home I searched and realized i was on the wrong side .Going to leave as is.Still going to punch myself in the balls for being a jerk.
